How it works, step by step
What we do at each stage.
We prepare
We prepare
01The company and the role
Your company registers on the WorkinRomania.gov.ro platform, and the role, in an occupation on the official shortage list, is declared vacant at ANOFM.
02The contracts
The service contract with us, the placement contract signed by the company, the worker and us, and the employment contract, in Romanian and in the worker's language, registered in REGES-ONLINE.
03The single application
We fill it in on the platform, with the company's and the worker's documents.
We support
We support
04The long-stay employment visa
The worker goes to the Romanian consulate in their country, which decides on the application within 30 days at most.
05The single permit
After arrival, we file the application for the single permit, which gives the right to stay and to work; the worker books an appointment at the General Inspectorate for Immigration.
Assistance with paperwork and administrative procedures
INDICA7 supports the preparation and coordination of the paperwork required to recruit and employ workers from third countries, in line with the applicable legislation and the responsibilities set out in the contract. Visas, permits and residence documents are issued by the competent authorities.
Frequent questions
Is there still a work permit (aviz de muncă)?
Not for new applications. Since 2026 the work permit has been replaced by the single application on the WorkinRomania.gov.ro platform, which leads straight to the long-stay visa and then to the single permit.
How long does it take?
The consulate decides on the single application within 30 days of the worker's appointment. You get the full timeline for your situation in the quote.
Who is the employer on the documents?
Your company. The employment contract is concluded directly between your company and the worker, and we sign the placement contract with both.
Which documents does the candidate need?
A valid passport, a translated and legalised criminal record certificate, travel medical insurance of at least 30,000 EUR, proof of means of support for 90 days and the qualification documents the role requires.
