How we recruit for your team
Six steps, from defining the posts to following integration.
We prepare
We prepare
01We define the need
We discuss the type of cuisine, the menu, the number of seats, how shifts are organised and what each post does: line cook, assistant, pizza chef, waiter, dishwasher. Together we set the profile of the right worker for your restaurant.
02We identify candidates
We search our network in Nepal and India for people with experience in restaurants, including international experience.
03We organise selection
Interviews and practical tests in the trade requested. That leaves a short list of candidates suited to the restaurant.
We select
We select
04We coordinate the paperwork
We file the single application on WorkinRomania.gov.ro and follow the long-stay visa and the single permit, according to each candidate's situation. The timeline is set for each recruitment.
We accompany
We accompany
05We organise the arrival
We coordinate with you the arrival in Romania and the first day of work, including the accommodation agreed. Workers are met on arrival, receive a SIM card and are guided to the restaurant.
06We follow integration
We stay in touch with the restaurant and the workers, mediate any situation that arises and help them settle into the menu, the hygiene rules and the pace of service. We visit the restaurant when needed.
Assistance with paperwork and administrative procedures
INDICA7 supports the preparation and coordination of the paperwork required to recruit and employ workers from third countries, in line with the applicable legislation and the responsibilities set out in the contract. Visas, permits and residence documents are issued by the competent authorities.
Frequently asked questions
What companies ask us before requesting a quote.
Do you also recruit general staff for restaurants?
Yes. We recruit experienced cooks, pizza chefs, waiters, bakers and pastry cooks, as well as general workers for supplies, cleaning and kitchen support.
Do the cooks know Romanian cuisine?
We check at the practical test what you need: dishes from your menu. Many candidates have international experience; local recipes are learned after arrival, under the head chef.
Do the waiters speak Romanian?
The language level required for each post is agreed with you and checked at interview. For the kitchen, language is usually not a condition of employment. After arrival, our team mediates communication between the workers and the company.
What happens if a worker does not settle in?
We stay in touch with the company and the workers after arrival and mediate any situation that arises. Any replacement terms are set out in the quote and the contract.
